Breathedge 2 Items Hub

Plastic, titanium, duct tape, tools, and the suit parts that actually keep you alive.

Items Hub

Every Breathedge 2 run is a junk sorting problem. This hub is the catalog: what to pick up, what to dismantle, and what to leave floating. It is not a complete database — Early Access recipes will move — and it is not a replacement for the in-game Encyclopedia. It is the priority layer so you stop filling a 4 kg backpack with posters.

Start with resources if a quest named a material. Use tools if a job named a gadget. Use spacesuit if a meter is killing you. Crafting how-to lives on the crafting guide. Survival meters live on survival.

How items work in this sequel

Steam copy: learn blueprints, craft tools and equipment, upgrade gear and the spacesuit, repair and dismantle machinery, gather resources. The upgrade card language is charge, durability, extraction, level, and weight. If an object does not have a card, it is probably a raw material or a gag. If it has a card, it is a tool you can kill yourself with by ignoring charge.

Dismantling is first-class. The sequel wants scavenging to feed DIY modules, not a museum. When in doubt, salvage the machine you cannot use and keep the parts the Encyclopedia highlights.

Three piles, not one backpack

  1. Always take: plastic when you are short, duct tape, quest objects, Encyclopedia-flagged parts, food and water units.
  2. Take with a plan: titanium, aluminum, electronics, tool mods, suit inserts. These have landmarks. Do not vacuum the map.
  3. Leave: duplicate posters, broken novelties with no scheme, heavy souvenirs. Carry capacity is a survival stat.

Demo players were told plastic is in pipes and suitcases, titanium is behind Chuck’s Taxi, and you did not need much titanium to finish that slice. Those answers are the shape of the loot design: common clutter everywhere, rares on unique wrecks.

Where this hub points

  • Resources — plastic, metals, tape, consumables, and how to read a landmark clue.
  • Tools — crowbar-class, Spraytron, jackhammer, extra hand, recharge posts.
  • Spacesuit — tanks, armor, thermal, backpack, the AI in the collar.

Screenshots on this wiki include the jackhammer blueprint table, first-person orange gloves in debris, and the orange shuttle you will use as a dump chest. If you are about to EVA, empty the joke items into that shuttle and keep a tank module. If you are about to craft, open crafting and this hub side by side.

For locations that spawn the junk, use the map and stations. For whether a gadget is even in the first chapter, check Early Access. Items are solved when your inventory looks like a kit. Until then, you are a flying garage sale with an oxygen meter.
